I hired the Shed Guys from the Cowichan Valley to build and install their standard 4’x8′ Lean To shed.
Since the last post on this project, I’ve moved the raised bed garden from the space, and cleared out other junk to make way for the shed build, which took place April 23rd.

The Shed Guys build these all the time, so go about the deployment quite effeciently! They unloaded the prepared materials for the shed build around 7 AM, and started putting things together.
As noted on their site, they require a certain amount of space to work in to deploy the shed.
In this case, space was a little tight, so we adapted the build a bit to suit the narrow dimensions of the space.
The site isn’t quite level, so they leveled the foundation with cement blocks, and a few chunks of pressure-treated lumber.
The clearance against the studio got a bit pinchy along the way, so we made a game-day decision to move the shed towards the back fence a little farther to make enough space for the shed roof to build out in place.
The door is heavy-duty, on large hinges, and comes with a latch you can fit a lock to.
This shed is going to be great for storing tools, garden equipment, seasonal acessories, and other things taking up space elsewhere in the yard.
Thanks Shed Guys, for doing such a a great build!
